What is happening?
Deep Rest
When: 18th December, 7-8.30pm
Where: Grasroots Yoga
Deep Rest is a special 90 min monthly Restorative Yoga practice. With the support of props expect to be deliciously relaxed by this mindful practice of slowing down and recharging. Your nervous system will thank you! We have kept this class to a maximum of 10 so you can receive personalised attention in an intimate setting. Mary is passionate about the practice of Restorative yoga and will guide you through a nourishing journey of deep rest. You may wish to bring your own eye pillow and personal comfort blanket. We will provide all other equipment. This practice is accessible to all levels of experience and is incredibly beneficial to anyone needing recovery and relaxation. Can support improved sleep, reduce feelings of stress and anxiety and is the perfect antidote to really stressful times.
INVESTMENT: $39 for non members. Members save 10%.

Deep Play
When: 20th November, 1.30-3.30pm
Where: Grassroots Yoga
brant summer practice for the curios student of yoga. Deep play is an Intermediate/advanced class that allows time for a more in depth exploration of asana, philosophy, meditation and nourishing savasana. With a longer class format there is time for a more thorough warm up which in turn allows for greater opportunity for success and breakthroughs when working on challenging poses. A must for any yoga lover! Not suitable if you are beginner, injured or pregnant.
Josh Borella is a senior teacher trained in the Anusara Lineage of yoga, with 7 years teaching at Grassroots and 10 years in the USA prior to his arrival in NZ. His classes are a powerful mix of soulful presence, intelligent sequencing and physical challenge.
We start on time please aim to arrive 10 min before class start time to be settled on your mat.
Investment: $35.10 members $39 non members
Koha Classes
Our Koha classes have no specific charge and are in exchange for a gift or a donation that we then donate to the following charities (and more!)

These classes are run by our amazing Yoga Teacher Trainees under the support of our senior teachers. They are open to anyone that wants to attend (you do not have to currently be a part of our Adapted family).
